C2 Imaging | An All-Star Winner

Electrobot Creative, who has handled many NBA events around the United States, was looking for a local vendor to partner with that had the capability to handle a large-scale job such as the NBA All-Star Game in Houston.

The project required a window graphic for the front of the Toyota Center, banners and column wraps for 18 hotels, banners for crowd control fencing and the George R. Brown Convention Center, banners for the airports and downtown Houston, wayfinders and graphics for concrete substrates outside buildings. Additionally, they needed to cover signage from sponsors of the Toyota Center that were not sponsors of the NBA All-Star Game.

Electrobot was impressed that C2 Imaging had a flatbed and two latex printers that could provide a one-day-turn on last-minute items. “I think my 28 years of experience plus the combined experience of Barry and Mary Anna—another 60 years—was very important in gaining their confidence. They were impressed with the fact that I project manage the 165 Academy Stores quarterly with over 10,000 different pieces each order to produce in a very short time span,” Carla Stabley, C2 Imaging, said.

C2 Imaging Houston coordinated the event with the help of the Vomela Network to produce the event signage. Fusion Imaging, Utah, one of the newest members of the Vomela network, helped with additional banners and bench wraps that were not included in the original plan.
Few companies can provide the kind of capability and support that Vomela and C2 Imaging can.
The event signage was produced in fabric, vinyl and PSA. All of the PSA materials used were manufactured by 3M. Ultraflexx products were used for all mesh, scrim and blockout banners.

“C2 Imaging provided a very broad set of production capabilities. Many were utilized in support of All-Star. Coordinating production from several facilities, C2 Imaging maintained rich colors and crisp graphics that were consistent across all substrates. The dedication and follow through for a project of this scale was exceptional. Few companies can provide the kind of capability and support that Vomela and C2 Imaging can.” - Rob Soulé, Electrobot Creative.
